2023Puo media won performing arts company of the year South Africa Prestige awards 2022/2023
2023We retained 3 students to play on letters of hope the musical
2023Puo media funded by Cathsseta training students in heritage practice in Northern cape, Kimberly
2022Puo Media was part of Exxaro career expo 2022 and performed.
2022Puo Media was part of Mayibuye Community outreach, by South African State Theatre.
2022Puo Media placed two of our students on Sello Maake Ka Ncube’ show…Bloke and his
American Bantu.
2022Puo Media performed at the long service awards ceremony for department of public
service and administration (DPSA).
2021Puo Media in partnership with Moses Kotane Municipality in North West, trained 30
students in performing arts.
2020Puo Media in partnership with Sello Maake kaNcube Foundation and Gauteng
technical manufacturing initiative trained 100 students in performing arts and
entrepreneurship in Vaal.
2019We retained 2 students to play in Fela and the Kalakuta Queens directed by Bolanl
Austen-Peters from Nigeria.
2019Puo Media performed for Art and Culture, Activation of Africa month at Women’s living
heritage monument.
2019Puo Media won Premier Youth Excellence Awards for sports, arts, and culture.
2018We placed one of our students to be part of Mbongeni Ngema’s Sarafina and
travelled to Martiniquein France.
2018We retained some of our students to play in FREEDOM THE MUSICAL directed by
Aubrey Sekhabi.
20172017: We performed for Road accident Fund, world aids day piece on the 1st of December.
2017We retained 8 of our students in a show called ISAMBULO co-written and
codirected by Zakhele Mabena and Patrick Sanku Bokaba, aligning their talent
traits that fit the shows description and help them grow within the industry.
2017Our school chorale was selected to sprout for Imizwilili so they can expose their talents
with the world.
2017Puo media performed at the 46th international folklore gala in Italy (July- August).
2016Puo media auditioned for Gauteng department of Sport, Arts, culture, and recreation
Ishashalazi festival… and was nominated for the best female actor, most promising
production and best music composed and won best music composed.
2016Puo media took part on the 14th Unisa (University of South Africa) Youth Music Festival
in Tshwane metro and won 25 certificates (non-classical vocal group, Vocal Ensemble)
…Gold and silver.
2015Puo media in partnership with National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) in
celebration of women in business and leadership.
2015Puo media in partnership with Usuthu arts production had a student’s workshop with
Ben Dew from UK.
2015Puo media in partnership with the South African state theatre and City of Tshwane
hosted the legendary Tshepo Tshola and Mandla Ntlatlane (Gospel fiesta).
